PC De-Crapifier v1.6 Released
Now updated for HP! Version 1.6 of the PC De-Crapifier brings you the removal of HP Crap!
Through the contributions of users, I’ve been able to update the De-Crapifier with the ability to remove some of the junk pre-installed on some HP machines.
- Wild Tangent Games (There is a TON of these!)
- Norton AntiVirus 2005 - This is a trial. Get AVG Free instead. No trial, no nags.
- Norton Security Center
- Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 - This is a 30 day trial
- Quicken 2006 - I made this one off by default. I couldn’t quite tell if was a trial, or just a super limited version
I am also now removing unnecessary desktop icons. Plus there were a couple more Dell items: Dell Wild Tangent and Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 12
