Raul: Actually if everything is working the BT and GPS lights should be blinking. I always thought this was backward too. I've just uploaded the manual if you want to check it out. Take a look at the bottom of the post.

Hi

Thanks for much-needed review.

I charged the GPS Receiver and turned it ON. The satelile connection LED (D5) just keeps flashing. I took the GPS Receiver to a few different places to see if I can get steady green D5. I left it ON for over 15 minnutes at each location to get the satelite lock. But I never got a steady green D5 LED.

I also turned my Dell Axim with BT (Tom Tom Navigator installed) and tried to pair with GPS Receiver. D1 and D6 kept on flashing alternatively for over 10 minutes, but it never paired with my PDA. Rebooted the PDA and tried again.

I tried all above situations few times, but of no avail.

Is the GPS Receiver functional or am I missing something?

Thanks for any help.

I've recently purchased this unit and it has excellent reception in some places and poor in others (like in a bus or on some streets with wide open skies for the most part). I'm not sure if the poor reception is due to interference or what. I am, however, considering getting an antenna. What antenna connector does this use? I'm not familiar with this type of connection.

Thanks in advance.
